Kartelsh AGY Image

Use this skill for text-to-image, image editing, prompt-template image generation, image QA, web heroes, service thumbnails, product mockups, infographics, diagrams, stickers, portraits, backgrounds, and visual assets where AGY should plan, generate, or review the result.

Default output path is AGY-first: ask AGY to generate and save the requested image artifact into the output directory. This does not require GEMINI_API_KEY when AGY successfully writes the image. If AGY does not write a valid image file, fall back to the Gemini image API models:

• quality: gemini-3-pro-image
• fast: gemini-3.1-flash-image

All AGY planning, direct image artifact generation, and QA use Gemini 3.8 Flash. quality uses gemini-3.8-flash-high; fast uses gemini-3.8-flash-medium for planning and gemini-3.8-flash-low for direct artifact generation. QA uses gemini-3.8-flash-high.

Live AGY Findings

• AGY can generate image bytes directly when the prompt explicitly asks it to create an image artifact and save that artifact into the added output directory.
• The normal AGY path does not need GEMINI_API_KEY; that key is only for the script's Gemini image API fallback after AGY fails to write a valid image.
• If AGY 3.8 Flash does not write a valid image artifact, the wrapper falls back to the dedicated Gemini image API model for the selected mode.
• Keep the generation prompt concrete: exact filename, added output directory, requested aspect ratio/size, and "reply only with the saved file path" after writing.

Operating Rules

1. Run with --print-prompt first when the user is still iterating on copy, brand, or composition.
2. Use quality for text-heavy images, product mockups, complex composition, 2K/4K output, and final assets; this uses AGY gemini-3.8-flash-high.
3. Use fast for drafts, simple concepts, low-stakes thumbnails, and rapid iteration; this uses AGY gemini-3.8-flash-medium for planning and gemini-3.8-flash-low for direct artifact writing.
4. The AGY generation prompt must explicitly ask AGY to generate an image artifact and save it to the added output directory with the exact requested filename.
5. Keep full prompts and QA outputs in artifacts, but never print GEMINI_API_KEY or AGY auth details.
6. GEMINI_API_KEY is optional when AGY successfully writes the image artifact; it is required only for the API fallback path.
7. If AGY is missing, run the shared installer check before generation:
