DJ Cards Redesign - Clean UX Implementation
Overview
Redesigned DJ listing cards to eliminate redundancy and improve user experience by simplifying the layout, reducing visual clutter, and enhancing information hierarchy.
Key Improvements
1. Eliminated Redundancy
- Before: Event count information was shown in multiple places (badge, label, separate sections)
- After: Single, clear event status indicator with appropriate visual cues
2. Improved Visual Hierarchy
- Before: Multiple competing visual elements with complex conditional styling
- After: Clear visual hierarchy with distinct sections for:
- Avatar (14px larger for better visibility)
- Name and style tag
- Event status badge
- Event details (when available)
- Action buttons
3. Enhanced Event Status Indicators
- Has Events: Green checkmark with "X Termine" label
- Zero Events (when "Alle DJs" active): Amber clock icon with descriptive message
- No Events (when "Alle DJs" inactive): Subtle gray badge
4. Simplified Conditional Logic
- Before: Complex nested if/else blocks with repeated styling
- After: Clean, declarative constants with clear state management
5. Better Information Architecture
- Event Details: Now only shown when events exist
- Zero Event Context: Helpful explanatory text when DJs have no events
- Improved Action Buttons: Primary "Profil ansehen" + conditional secondary button

- Badges: Changed from rounded-badge to rounded-full for modern look
- Colors: Added semantic color coding (green for events, amber for zero events)
- Spacing: Improved gap consistency and padding
Cleaner Layout Structure
- Top Section: Avatar + name + style + event status
- Middle Section: Event details (conditional)
- Bottom Section: Action buttons with improved styling
Benefits
- Reduced Cognitive Load: Users can quickly scan and understand DJ status
- Improved Scannability: Clear visual separation of information types
- Better Accessibility: Semantic color coding with proper contrast
- Enhanced Mobile Experience: Improved touch targets and responsive layout
- Maintained Functionality: All original features preserved with cleaner implementation
