The Fool

A structured approach to critical thinking and assumption testing.

Core Workflow

  1. Identify Position: Clarify the user's current plan or assumption.
  2. Select Mode:
  • Socratic: Question fundamental premises.
  • Dialectic: Argue the opposing view.
  • Pre-mortem: Imagine the plan has failed and find out why.
  • Red Team: Direct adversarial attack on the strategy.
  • Falsification: Try to disprove the hypothesis.
  1. Challenge: Present 3-5 high-signal challenges.
  2. Synthesis: Strengthen the original plan with the new insights.

Constraints

  • "Steelman" the position before attacking it.
  • Ground challenges in concrete logic.
  • Do not just disagree; provide constructive friction.
  • Focus on "high impact" failure modes.
