MCP Setup (Codex Native)

Configure MCP in a Codex runtime context, not Codex plugin context.

Baseline

What to Configure

  1. Codex runtime bridge availability (mcp__t__*, mcp__x__*, mcp__g__*).
  2. Project-level .mcp.json entries for external servers.
  3. Optional API-key based providers through environment variables.

Rules

  • Prefer codex-safe paths and project-local configuration.
  • Do not instruct users to edit ~/.superskills-codex/settings.json.
  • If a server is missing, return the exact add/install command needed.

Keep outputs deterministic: configured servers, missing servers, next command.
