LinkedIn marketing

Write a post that makes sense to an operations or engineering reader scrolling quickly through LinkedIn. The post should establish a recognizable work problem, introduce the product as a relevant response, and give the reader a reason to take the action requested in the brief. It should read like a useful launch announcement from a company, not an ad assembled from buzzwords.

Build the post

  1. Open with a one- or two-line hook tied to the audience's actual work. A question can work, but use a direct statement when it is stronger. Avoid curiosity bait such as "You won't believe what happens next."
  2. Explain the friction described in the brief. If review takes time or reports vary, say that plainly. Do not add an unmentioned crisis, regulatory requirement, or failure rate to raise the stakes.
  3. Name the product and explain its mechanism in one sentence. The reader should understand what input it uses and what it helps identify or produce. For InspectAI, photographs and visible signs of wear are more informative than a generic claim that it "uses AI to optimize operations."
  4. Connect the capability to two or three distinct practical benefits that the brief supports. A benefit may be faster review or more consistent reporting. Do not list the same idea three ways to fill space.
  5. End with a single call to action that matches the brief. "Learn more about InspectAI" suits an awareness post. A demo request belongs only when the brief calls for one.

Format for the channel

Aim for about 100–180 words when the brief permits. Use short paragraphs with a clear break between the problem, product, and invitation. A compact list can help when there are several distinct benefits, but prose is fine when the message is simpler. Keep the first line understandable without relying on a later reveal. Use at most three relevant hashtags; hashtags should label the topic, not substitute for a message. Skip emoji unless the brief calls for them or the established brand voice uses them.

Do not invent a URL, a tagged person, a customer quote, or an event date. If the request asks readers to learn more but provides no link, use a verbal invitation rather than a fabricated address. For the LinkedIn asset, provide the requested post without alternate hooks or editorial notes.

Review before sending

Check whether a reader could answer three questions after one pass: What problem is being discussed? What does the product actually do? What should I do next? Remove claims such as "prevent every breakdown" or "halve inspection time" unless the brief explicitly supports them. Favor measured verbs such as helps, supports, and identifies visible signs when describing a product whose outcomes have not been quantified.
